Welcome! I'm Iris M. Crawford 〰️

I am a climate journalist covering the intersections of energy policy, race, climate inequity, and, most recently, food and agriculture. I am also a communications strategist with experience in campaigns and grassroots organizing. My work has appeared in  NPQ, The Guardian, Civil Eats, San Francisco Chronicle, and  Prism, among other publications. I am on the board of the Uproot Project, a support network of environmental journalists of color, and a member of the Pacific Street Brooklyn Bears community garden.
